Could someone find X gonna give it to ya. If so, you will henceforth be declared my best friend and I will let you swim in my pool............. actually its my neighbor's pool, but I thought it would be cooler if I said it was my own.

And another thing: Apparently my phone can play MP3s or something. Since the user manual seems to not be good for anything except toilet paper it doesn't mention the MP3 capabilities further. If anyone has any info, let me know. Thanks

those were the only ones from your list I could find easily. I haven't tested them out, just ran them thru the converter. If you can find rtttl codes for the rest, someone on the board will convert them for you I'm sure. Hope these two sound ok.

If you search thru this incredibly long thread, there are tons of ringtones posted. I've gotten about 20 of them from here. If not just look up free ringtones or rtttl ringtones. if it's a specific song you're looking for, post it and people will post the tone if they can find it. Good luck

I couldn't get winnie the pooh to convert... kept coming up with errors. If anyone uses these, let us know how they sound. I know from personal experience that sometimes the conversion screws up the song. Took me forever to get my GNR ringtone that sounded like the song.

are those tones u were trying to convert rtttls? That could be why they wouldn't work in the converters. You need rintones in the form of RTTTL to be able to run them thru. At least that's what I thought. I'm fairly new to all this myself. Never even heard of rtttl until I started coming to this board.

The AC/DC tone you posted is already in 120e format... it's just the long way. Where it has "3333" that just means you have to push the 3 button 4 times to get the number 3 instead of d,e or F. "00" means you push 0 2x to get a * The "#" sign is so you can scroll over quickly when you have to enter something that is on the same key without waiting for the phone to space itself -- 333 # 3333 means f3. Here is the song in both forms:

In the second form the # isn't for a space. You have to hit 0 3times. BTW-- I just tested out the song and it cuts off a couple of notes at the end.... I'll see if I can find you the whole intro.

as far as free converters, I know there are a few out there but the only one I've come across and usually had success with is this one:

sometimes the song gets messed up in the conversion, but usually it works ok. All you have to do is make sure the tone you are converting is in RTTTL form. The site explains it more. It also has links to sites where you can find ringtones in rtttl form.
