The easiest way to convert ringtones without using a converter is to compose the songs yourself. Go to Mr.tones.com and click on Motorola for song keypresses. The info is for the 120c but all you do is change the "h, w, and q" for "the speed, "0,1,2,3,4,5..." I have found so many awesome ringtones there. It is easy. Ask for help.

 

I really dont know how to do any of that.

I went to that website and looked under motorola phones and there was no letters h, w or q so no way to change them to the numbers you said. So I'm still searching for my GNR. I know the ones I've found just need to be tweaked a little cuz they almost sound right, just with a few extra notes or a few in the wrong spot, but I don't have the musical talent to fix them myself... If I repost the conversion can someone who knows music maybe fix it and post the corrected notes? I would really appreciate it.

Somewhere in here I found two ringtones that I think I'd like to use, but I'm new to the whole putting your own ringtone in your cell, so I'll give you the thingy that I got on here, and you can give me the numbers and whatnot. I'm using a V120c, and most of the stuff on here I'm not even sure how to do. This is the only place that I can actually understand so far. Also, I heard on someone's Motorola the other day the Austin Powers theme song, I think it was from "Goldmember", and I really liked it, so if someone could find that, and put it into the numbers thing, that would be totally awesome. And if someone could explain to me how to do all this stuff that I'm asking for, I would be forever grateful. I won't be on my computer for another week, so if you could just email this stuff to me instead of replying to this, that would be great.

This is a pretty good ringtone for Last Resort by Papa Roach. I just put it in my phone. It a tiny bit fast but other than that it sounds great.

Alright I have a few things to get off my chest about the Motoral v120e phone. Is it just me or does the signal suck with this phone? I mean I'm not sure what service provider you have, but I have Cricket and for the people out there in Cricketville you know that the coverage area sucks pretty bad. lol Well I went to radio shack and asked them about those Internal Antenna's and they said they only work on analog phones and must of the phones are digital now. Well that's my 2 pennies.

 

I haven't had any problems with my 120e and the signal. I have verizon wireless and have a signal everywhere I go except for one grocery store. Big change from my former cell phone. I had a nokia 3360 from At&t and the signal was AWFUL! Could barely even use the phone in my own house. Not to mention other problems with the "lovely" customer service At&t provided. I've heard a lot of bad things about verizon so maybe I'm in the minority here, let me know. But like I said my 120e gets perfect (or close to) reception and signal.

oh yeah and those internal antenna thingys don't work at all. Don't waste your money. And if you still are thinking about trying it, go to one of those discount stores or a dollar store. I've seen them there instead of paying 10-20 for it.

At AT&T's website, theres a place you can send text messages. Is there a way to save a ringtone from your inbox to My Tones on the V60i? I know when AT&T sends them , they send them as text messages if Im not mistaken. Anyone know?
