I just switched to the $10 unlimited in +500. Sure will beat paying $.25 per pic I send or recieve. By the way Erik, do you still have an IN messaging plan? I could sure make some use out of mine then.:browani:
I switched to one of the new IN Messaging packs Sunday. I'm now on the $10 package with Unlimited "IN" Messaging and 500 other messages.
These were rumored on Hofo for well over a month... Thankfully they actually came to fruition. I'm now on the $20 package, though I may still end up going over my out of network allotment.
Yep. I still have the unlimited IN and 50 extra messages. I can't decide if I should switch to the $5 plan (250 messages and no IN) or the $10 (unlimited IN and 500 additional messages). Hmm......:headscrat EDIT: I just switched to the unlimited IN and 500 additional messages (Text, Pix, and Flix) for $10. I just logged into My Account to make sure the changes are there, and they are: UNL IN 500 MSG CAMERA $10. :smilebig:
Wow, if you think you will still go over with 2500 out TXT messages, how much in overages did you pay before the new price plans came out? I used to have the old $10 one for unlimited IN +250 out and now have the $10 one for Unlimited IN and 500 Out. I send/receive over 3000 SMS a month but have not gone over for months on my out of network messages.
These are some nice plans, hope by the time I have to migrate over to Cingular Orange they will have something similar, especially with my kids.
Well, the only month I had overages was when I was on the $10/1000msg plan with no unlimited IN... I had like $23 in overages because for some reason the system wouldn't let me change to the 2500msg plan and backdate it. Regardless, I would have really liked to have seen a completely unlimited package, but this still isn't all that bad. I should be able to keep it to under 2500 out of network messages.
I can't change text plans just yet. Currently I have the $10/1000 text plan. The $10 Unlimited IN 500 out plan is tempting. That way I would not have to worry about pix messages. But I tend to send mass text messages on Holidays (like today). Maybe I will switch next month.
So yours is one of the old plans that doesn't cover pix messages? I couldn't live w/out pix/flix messages anymore- I already sent/received about 150 this billing month and still have like a week left.
Ok, so when i log into my account it currenly says: 250 MSG CAMERA $5 . On 'add features' it says that i can add Unlimited to IN plus 500 (1200...etc.). On my current feature, 250 MSG CAMERA $5 , am i getting JUST 250 messages to send to anyone...or Unlimited to Verizon + 250 to others?!!
It sounds like you have an old plan that has 250 messages only to everyone & this includes incoming SMS with MMS. My suggestion is to upgrade your SMS plan if you intend to sms others inside & outside the Verizon group and will be doing more then the 250 both ways. You can also get an unlimited to anyone plan now as well.
