Are the free incoming minute plans only good on the Sprint Nationwide Network (not the roaming partners with Free and Clear America)? Does sprint allow you to use M2M if you are off these roaming areas?
No free incoming minutes are only good when your on the Sprint nationwide network and the same goes for mobile to mobile.Mobile to mobile includes Sprint/nextel customers with the exception of nextel partners.
I think it would be a bad move for Sprint to allow free incoming calls on another carrier's network. That could cost them a lot of money.
Someone on SU posted it. But it turns out now that the offer is not available in all affiliate markets.
I can see not allowing free incoming on other networks, but m2m might be a good idea... since cingular and verizon do it without roaming (at least apparent to the consumer)
Sprint also offers nights starting@6 for a additional fee and boy have i used the heck out of it.I think they have an option called mtm america but i' m not familiar with that option. The new plans may include roaming mobile to mobile because it is called fair and flexible for families america so you may wanna call Sprint and ask since the new plans are just that new.
Sure it would be nice but just because the other two carriers have decided to do it that way doesn't mean Sprint should. They have to do what's best for the company. It would be very boring if all of the carrier's offered the exact same thing. Sprint has their things that the other carriers don't such as 6PM N&W. At least Sprint's M2M customer base has increased from 25 million to 40 million.
Sprint has a lot of add-ons? Cingular is killing me with their absurd costs for SMS and data. I am seriously considering going back to Sprint or TM in the next month or two. I think I can get unlimited SMS, pics, internet with Sprint for about $25 less/mo than cingular would charge me for 2500 SMS, 40 pics, and unlimited internet. And I think TM is $5 less than Sprint! The only thing keeping me with Cingular is the fact I use over 2000 M2M minutes every month. But I have a feeling that usage will be way down soon. If that happens, adios Cingular.
Sprints offers are attractive BUT they don't save me any money/month. Tmobile is the only carier that could save me any money for what I need. But I have -75db at my desk at work and -85 at my desk at home right now. Why change?
Say it ain't so!! We found something that could make Larry leave Sprint!!! I wish I knew her...I'd send her to your place with a TM contract in her hands! Wait...you said you'd change for the opportunity. So head on down to TM and maybe you will meet her one day!
So this is only through 11/12/05; what happens after that? Will Sprint simply return to the older plans, or introduce more "newer, better" plans? Or does it depend on what VZW does, and what Sprint must do to counter? My VZW contract expiresl 12/5/05, and there is a very good chance that I would jump to Sprint then, but I need to keep the numbers (2 lines, for business). I guess that I could sign up with Sprint sooner, then port the numbers over later, but it would be a bit of a hassle. Still, if I go with Sprint I'll get two "free" phones, but with VZW renewal I'll only get one free and have to buy another. Also the Sprint PTT seems pretty cool. Forrest
Fair and flexible for families is a very good plan i have that one and use my phone for business purposes. If you do use your phone alot as i do i would say also get the 6pm nights and weekends.
My prediction is that Sprint will keep these plans and continue to offer them through the holidays. So you should be fine if you wait. Sprint always has their best deals of the year in December.
