New PRL Available for CellONE-Western Wireless

    CellularONE-Western Wireless' PRL (Preferred Roaming List) 89 was made available on 4/22/2005. You can upgrade to PRL 89 by dialing *228 from a CellularONE-Western Wireless digital area.

    Does CellularONE still play "Stayin' Alive" as you hold for the PRL download? I always got a kick out of that. Next time I'm back in Manhattan I'll update my parents two phones.

    That's hilarious but honestly, I don't know. I don't work in Tech Support and I've got TDMA phones so I've never had to upgrade a PRL. I think it probably runs off whatever hold music system we use. I heard "Radar Love" once when I was waiting for financial services or something... of course, they picked up right at the good part. :mad: :p

    It always plays the same song.

    I got PRL 87 downloaded today. Anyone know what has changed. Is this the one that is going to allow me to use Alltel when I go into native Alltel territory?
