Does anyone know if Verizon is getting any new phones soon? I am looking for something like a PDA phone. I have been sitting on my renew every 2 money for a while now because it just seems like verizon never comes out with any cool new phones. I am seriously considering cingular. They seem to come out with cool phones every week. Thery are even coming out with the new Motorola Q9. Is there any info on Verizon releasing that aswell?

Verizon does have their version coming out, but it's any ones guess as to when that will be. How does at&t's coverage compare with Verizon's in your area?

Both cingular and verizon have about the same coverage. I have heard that Verizons broadband is better than cingulars version. I have never really had problems with Verizon, but I just want a phone I like and it seems that Verizon just doesnt have much to offer.

I left Verizon for at&t's (Cingular at the time) Motorola V3xx so I could try out their 3G service and I ended up going back to Verizon because of 3G related issues indoors in my area......I like at&t's regular EDGE coverage though, and their customer service was nice as well during the few times that I needed to call them.....If you decide to try them, just make sure you try to use the handset that you get in as many areas as possible during your 30 day trial period, so you will have a good indication of how their service is going to be for you.....Also I'm not really sure that Verizon's broadband is any better than at&t's since I haven't done any real speed tests of my own using the two services side by side.....I'm finding out now that Verizon does put a lot more restrictions on going to different sites using the 2.0 Mobile web than at&t... Actually I can't recall having any restrictions with at&t.

I found some info on the Q9m at this site:Motorola Q9m Live Photo Gallery (MobileBurn), while looking up info on another Motorola handset that I've been tracking.
