The 7380 is definitely a weird one. They have started introducing weird handsets now.

Yeah... I mean, I always thought the Nokia 7280 was weird but I understood it. In the world of cell phones you've got clamshell, candybar and slider/swivel as form factors, more or less. As a company, you've got to sort of find a way to 'break the mold' as they say. The skinny bar-style phone looked really good in black, too, but I just don't get the brown and the tags... what's up with the tags?

I was wondering the same thing lol. But I agree that you have to find new ways to "break the mold" as you mentioned. Question is whether or not the public will catch on to it and like it.
I have to say, though, that I'm very impressed by the CDMA Nokia 6236. It's one stylish beautiful thing that does very well.

I thought ugly phones was a Nokia trademark.

This is a fashion handset. You are examining from a geek/functional point of view. Makes perfect sense from a marketing POV. This gold phone (not brown), is for people who know that Nokia is a great phone..but have some contorted, sad, sick, inner need to impress their friends and appear affluent.

You've got over 3K worth of posts...come on.. you know the score ;)
