Just noticed this on the Cingular Website.. http://www.cingular.com/cell-phone-service/cell-phone-details/?q_list=true&q_phoneName=Option+GT+Max+3.6+Express&q_sku=sku950034
Nice, AT&T branded and Quadband edge, Tri-Band UMTS. I guess it's the first big AT&T branded "thing".
I noticed the ad in yesterday's paper had the AT&T logo & globe on the screen and it looked like it was photshop added, but not as good as bobolito does. I also noticed the ad say's in the lower left "Formally Cingular", as well as when I was watching the race the TV ad's were this way.
http://www.cingular.com/cell-phone-...=Sierra+Wireless+Aircard+875u&q_sku=sku950040 And here's another.. this one's even USB compatible ffs. 3g, interntal battery an antenna.. and it says that it's only 3.7 x 1.5 x 0.8 inches. Also even claims to work in a Mac.
Finally they are catching up with Verizon in the offerings. Although in the plans, if you want international data, AT&T seems to be the only option. T-mobile doesn't have an international data plan (you can only roam per kilobyte) and with Verizon and Sprint you can't even have data roaming outside the US/Canada.
Thats so ovious a cheep ____ job at photoshopping that one, and i have to agree, that photo poped up on it fast when they started the rebranding. shoot the local store only has a few accessories in the at7t branding, yet alone phones.
