Is there anyway to find out what companies are going to be on a new cell tower before it goes up? I am planning on switching services due to a gap in an area that I use my phone often. I also know that there is also a gap in VS's service in the area. Rumor has it that VS is putting this tower up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Do what I do and simply walk up and ask the construction workers who the tower is being built for.

If the tower is over 200 ft in height it might have to be registered with the FCC. If that's the case then you might be able to find it on http://www.berkana.com/tower.php3

Larry, I think that website only give you who owns the tower, but not who rents it.

This tower is going up in River Vale less than a mile from the NY border. There is one in that town already, but to my knowledge only Verizon and AT&T are on it.
