Is there a way to find out when a cell phone company applies for a permit to install a cell tower in a particular town? A Verizon CS rep told me they were planning on putting up a tower in my area the 3rd or 4th quarter of this year and I want to know if and when that might be taking place.

I use the websites of my local county governemnt. searching there leads me to meetings regarding their applications.

I go directly to city hall to see who has applied for permits. In our city they have to release the information because of the taxes we pay.

Naahh larry, your title reads Sprint Fanboy Super Mod :D or SFSM for short :)

I'm pretty sure the FCC has to list tower applications as well as they have some say in approving something like this too. Doesn't a tower owner have to apply for some sort of license or permit from the FCC even if the approval process rests with a city or a county?
