Anyone know what new phones are coming out for sure for Alltel in the next few months. I know they are going to release that new LG MP3 phone that looks like a KRZR (The one Verizon has had for well over 6mons now) I know the Q has been pushed back to an unknown date as well. The guy at the store said he has not really heard of anything else in the pipeline. The Samsung SLVR clone is coming to Alltel but no release date yet. So anyone know anything? is Alltel taking a break from releasing new phones?

What the heck is the Moto 8000H? is that some sort of new digital bag phone? and yeah I know they are look at the CDMA SLVR L7 but its not for sure yet. Seems kinda limp on the phones doesnt it? I mean Verizon alone brought out two new phones this week, one is a nice flip office phone. They also released a new color of the Chocolate and the KRZR.

Yeah the phones are limp , but alltel is hard to beat on service. Thats why I stay with them.

Never heard of a Moto 8000H.

"New CDMA phones from Samsung coming to Alltel, Verizon
Posted Jan 31st 2007 12:00PM by Brian White
    Filed under: Cellular, Hardware

Samsung, the all-things-CDMA handset maker du jour these days, will be introducing new handsets to CDMA carriers Alltel and Verizon soon.

The two new models -- the R510 and U540 -- look identical to existing handsets offered from other carriers -- like the T-Mobile Trace and the Sprint A500. Both, both of these are packing CDMA innards in ultra-slim form factors." Taken from "The Wireless Report"

It was that big grey phone with the enormous black antennae that looked like a military phone from World War II or M*A*S*H*. First phone I ever owned, in 1980-something.

That's about how I feel about Alltel's product development team.
