negotiating new contract

    I am currenty out of contract with sprint and have been with sprint for 12 + years. i have 2 phones on my current basic family plan. i would like to like to upgrade my family plan to the "everything data family" (1500 minutes) but it doesn't include direct connect and they want me to pay an additional $20 (for 2 direct connect lines). i am also planning on buying 2 new phones.

    Does anyone have any suggestions on:

    - how I should go about negotiating getting direct connect either for free or at a lower rate.

    - what sprint department / sprint level employee i should talk to.

    - any particular buzz words or terms i should use when negotiating

    - if this is even worth my time

    They can waver activation fees, shipping fee, first restocking fee as far as I know.

    your best bet is calling the retentions department to ask what they can do for you because you're thinking of going to another carrier.
