Of course this is my first post... look at the post number. Any way, I've been looking at these forums for a couple months now. Had one of your bigger posters point me in this direction. Anyway, enough about me. I've run into a problem, my fault, purchased a phone without doing a 100% research on it. And now I'm kicking my self because I can't spend more money on a new phone and my 14 days have passed. So I'm stuck with this phone.

So the Nokia 5310 Xpress (very manly phone, especially in read) does support email clients, but they count as a text, (gmail doesn't work), google maps will download, but says that I need to give this program access to the network for it to work. Called T-Mobile, and they have no idea what I'm talking about. Fine, no Google Maps. Oh, Nokia Offers a Nokia Map. But not for the device for that I have. I do want a map application on my phone, I think they are cool.

Thanks in advance for the help here.

For google maps to work you need to be signed up for a data plan so it can access the internet.

Thank you for your response, but I do have a data plan with T-Mobile. It's just the basic one, but it works. I know it does because I have used the same data plan when I was using a Razor with T-Mobile, so I know that isn't the problem.
