I know how to move whatsapp messages from iPhone to iPhone but still not finding a way to transfer WhatsApp chats from iPhone to Android. This is possible in theory?
I checked the official document and didn't get answer from there.

Does WhatsApp on iPhone allow you to back up your chats using your Google Account? They would restore when you log in to WhatsApp from an Android device.

Using Email Chat to move WhatsApp messages from iPhone to Android is a simple method for every user. You only need to follow the below steps:

Step 1. Find and go to WhatsApp on your iPhone, then click "Settings > Chats Setting > Chat History > Email Chat".
Step 2. Choose the WhatsApp messages that you want to move to Android, then decide send with or without media files in the email message as you like.
Step 3. Type an email address and press "Send" button to begin the process. Then, you can login to your WhatsApp account on Android device, find the email that you just sent.

Please be noted that, the old iPhone WhatsApp messages can only be viewed on your Android but cannot sync with WhatsApp again through this method.

You may not notice that WhatsApp provide users with the chats backup function in its app directly.
Run WhatsApp on iPhone and click "Settings > Chats > Chat Backup". Click "Back Up Now" button to create a backup file of your iPhone WhatsApp messages.
Uninstall WhatsApp application on iPhone and install it on Android device, then sign in with your own WhatsApp account.
Here, you'll be required to verify WhatsApp account on the new device, and a pop-up window will appear and inform you "Message Backup Found". You can directly choose "Restore" button, then all chat history will be synced to the new Android device soon.
