I have just moved to Clancy Montana and have minimal coverage for my phone. I have a GZone Boulder and a Blackberry both on verizon. I also have a MiFi2200 for my internet at the house. I have purchased a wilson signal boost DT and am still not getting great signal. I have a friend who recommended a Yagi antenna and wanted to know what the experts out there thought. Thanks for the help.
Where-abouts in Clancy? AT&T has (at least) 2 towers in the area. Verizon may be on these towers too? And/or have other towers, as could AT&T. Their site ID: 108463 LATITUDE: 46.51001 LONGITUDE: -111.9330 FCC ID: None Site Name: MT06_JUDITH GAP County: NULL Address: 3662 HIGHWAY 297 City: JUDITH GAP State: MT, 59453 Tower Type: SELF SUPPORT Tower Height: Note: Shares a tower site with TV-36 (translator K36CX-D, in case you're interested.) Might be worth seeing if you can get TV-36 off the air....(?) This tower is about 4 miles northeast of Clancy. And this one - which probably doesn't cover well due to a terrain obstruction into "downtown" Clancy Site ID: 108837 LATITUDE: 46.40281 LONGITUDE: -112.0040 FCC ID: None Site Name: MT06_EmersonPk County: Jefferson Address: SW 1/4 NE 1/4 SEC. 32 TSHP 8 N RGE 3 W City: CLANCY State: MT, 59634 Tower Type: Monopole Tower Height: Note: This tower is about 4-1/2 miles south of Clancy. I checked some of the other carriers and the FCC database but didn't see anything (not surprising). I'd have to dig.
