I just missplaced (lost!) my beloved Kyocera 2325.

Although I had recently maxed out it's phonebook/address memory anyway.

I need a phone with lots of memory for contact info/addresses/phone numbers/ memos/calender/to do lists/ etc. & great battery life & phone clarity & reception & simple phone ring tone(s)

I know the TREO 650 could do all these and then some but the Verizon sales guy said I HAVE to sign up for the data plan for an additional $45! (When I pressed him on this as I didn't need this function, he said that I can cancel that part of the plan a day after I sign up for the plan?)

Would the Razr V3 fit the bill? The latest Kyocera? Soemthing else?

Incedently, I've been a verizon wireless customer for about 5 years now and am generally happy with them.

Thanks for any help with this,

    DR

you don't have to sign up for the plan. They are selling you a bridge.
I have a 650, and am on pay as you go for data use. It can add up, so I disabled data connection with a 5.00 program and now I have a pda/phone which is great!
