let me start off by saying that i a a NASCAR fan. my plan was up this month and i wanted to upgrade from my previous phone a samsung A900, so decided to get the Rumor btw my A900 was pretty beat-up after two years, the camera on it doesnt even work! but i got the rumor and i wanted to get NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile on my new rumor so i could listen to the in-car audio and other features. i had it on my A900, and its a free download. anyone know if there are any similar apps that are compatiable with the rumor. or if they plan on making a compatablie version? btw my favorite driver is #88 Dale Jr.
The application might be for Power Vision phones only, I am not sure. The Rumor is not a Power Vision phone, your old A900 was.
ok. so would you suggest that keep my A900 around if want to use that app, since the rumor is not EDVO capble?
Well, it sounds like you could use a newer phone. Have you considered the Samsung M520 slider? The LG Muziq might also fit your needs.
I got a change to play around a bit with the Samsung M520 and I really liked it. The sliding function was a bit odd for me, but I found the phone worked well.
I've played around with the Samsun in the store and I liked it, but decided I wanted the flip over the slider to offer better protection for the screen. The muziq is decent, but when I had it when it was first released, the battery life was terrible. I think they addressed that with a software update though. If you are wanting to go away from the flip design, the Samung is a great choice...and it is cheaper than the Rumor (at least before rebates).

yep the Nascar app is Evdo only, and the prices are the same on the 520 and the rumor..... The muziq's battery is now great. It is one of my fav non pda devices. If you had to have the Nascar app i wouldnt go back to your a900. Go exchange the Rumor b4 your thirty day exchange periods up.. Get that Muziq

Does the camera really not have a zoom? Or does the zoom only work when the camera is set to take pictures at lower resolutions?
