Can anybody provide their personal experiences with the myfaves plan? I am two months into a one-year contract with T-mobile and am on the get more plan. If I change it to myfaves, I understand that my contract will be extended. So, I just want to make sure that it is worth it. Thanks in advance for advise.
I've got the my faves plan and I love it!! You have to have a my faves phone I believe..maybe Matt can add his 2 cents in and let us all know. I've got a family share 1000 min plan and everyone on my faves is on Verizon..lol. The downfall to myfaves is you loose your mobile2mobile and have to pay an additional $6.99/mo per line for this feature.
Vaccine: do you like your Samsung t-629?? I'm to too happy with the T-619. I've had two of them so far and the 2nd one is just as worse as the first..hehe:loony:
Hi Cailiff, I love my Samsung T629. You should look up my very detailed review on Amazon.com website under the user name "Ash" titled "Samsung T629 rocks". Some issues are that the ringtone and speakerphone are less loud than what most people would want it to be. But, overall, a very sturdy, super-cool looking, amazing phone. I will be happy to answer any specific questions you might have about the T-629.
I don't have any direct experience with the myFaves plans, but my sister has one and I haven't heard any complaints. Changing to that plan now will restart your agreement, so you're really only extending your contract a couple of months. However, be sure to state that you want to maintain your one year agreement. Rate plan changes still only require a one-year extension, but it doesn't hurt to have the rep tell you your new contract expiration date.
I love the myFaves plan. im currently on the 2000 min family time plan w/ myFaves + M2M for $120. MyFaves is a great way to save some money, my cousin was on a $60 rate plan with all the minutes she used and went down to the $40 myFaves plan and hasnt gone over her minutes yet.
I think I will go ahead and change to myfaves ($ 49.99) plan plus the MMS ($ 4.99). It will be about $ 3 cheaper if I continued with my $ 39.99 (get more 600) and added M-2-M ($ 6.99) plus MMS ($ 4.99). I am convinced that myfaves is worth a two-month contract extension.
Can anyone confirm (or deny) the many rumors I have read via Google searches? I would like to buy an unlocked Nokia phone and also sign up with T-Mobile for their MyFaves program. When I sign up, I will "buy" a free phone with their plan and use it to program MyFaves. After I program MyFaves numbers on that phone, I would then like to take the SIM out of that phone and drop it into the unlocked phone which I want to use. Will I be able to then use my unlocked phone with MyFaves following the aforementioned procedure? There seems to be a lot of (mis)information about this on the web. Thank you for anyone who clarify the current (as of December 2007) situation. Cheers!
