Lately, my battery has barely lasted through the day (yes, that's singular) if it even makes it that far. Yesterday, the battery died before 5p. I charge it every night and talk a few minutes during the day. Is the weak signal in my building draining my battery that much? I have been using the alarm more often and leaving it on vibrate (so I don't miss a call while riding the bus). Could this be contributing to my short battery life? I've only had the phone since November and have logged about 50 hours of call time. I charge it every night--otherwise, I might not make it through the next day.

I'll be elligible for upgrade in a week. That Motorola e815 is looking good....

A weak signal can drain batteries fast, but I don't think it should drain it that fast.

Try the E815, the signal might actually be a lot better on that phone.

I would REALLY like to see a good bar phone in VZW's line-up (none of this entry-level mess).

    Oh. Sorry. :O

I thought you said the E815 is starting to look tempting to you.

So even with your upgrade coming up in a week, you won't get a new phone?

I had a bunch of bad batteries, had the same problem until I got a good battery. Some only lasted a few months. Some lasted for years.

    Same for chargers.

Hey Wgray, if you don't go for the E815 (I do highly reccomend it :D ) let me know. I have a LG-6K battery just sitting in a drawer collecting dust. I gave my old 6K to my wife and she is using the extended battery in it. So if you need another regular battery to get you through I can send it out to you.
