Hi. My brother and I both have T-mobile on the Motorola Razor V3 w/Bluetooth. When we try to connect, it doesn't work. Both phones are able to locate the other, but when the phone is selected, it either says "Service Not Available" or "Unable to Connect". Both of us have the Power On.

    This is what we do:
I go to "Find Me" and he goes to "[Look FOr Devices]". His phone finds mine. He selects it and it Seeks my phone, but that's when the error messages come: "Service Not Available" or "Unable to Connect".

He has been able to connect to other people's phones before, but I just got mine yesterday and haven't tried anyone but his. Help please?

Edit: We both have Razor V3 - not V3c, sorry. I don't know if that makes a dif, but yeah...

Why would you want to bluetooth your phones together?

Is there somethig you are trying to accomplish by doing this?

I would assume contact transfer or something similar. Like PDA users do with iR.

Cannot get any of the 4-V3m's to talk to each other via bluetooth, either.

Do no think it can be done with my phones.

One of the first things I did with all 4-V3m's was to enable the obex function so that I could use Motorola Phone Tools, BitPim, and P2k.

Notice the first post he said he was T-mobile, GSM razr is obex enabled by default, the sad truth is in his case it's probably got something to do with the phone's names or something similar to a mac address where the similarities of the phone are killing the connection. I have bluetooth connected my razr to my 8125 granted that's more like connecting to a pc but either way I was able to push my contact list over.

Here is the procedure to send files between two non verizon razr's.
First they have to have different names. On one of the phones In the bluetooth menu goto setup/name/change- change it to whatever.
    Make sure power is on.

In the sending phone goto and select the file "ringtone, pic or video" you want to transfer and Push the menu button/ select copy /select bluetooth / select look for devices.

In the recieving phone in the bluetooth menu select find me.
once the sending phone finds the recieving phone select it.
the phones will now connect. The receiving phone will say incoming transfer. accept it and the transfer will begin.
    hope this helps.

    Ringer,
