Ava would get my vote, actually... and yes, VH1's I Love The 80's Strike Back is some of the greatest televison programming ever.

 

DavidR and rancidhooligan, I agree with both of you about I Love The 80s Strike Back is one of the greatest t.v. show's, since......well....I was born during the 80s!

IMO, some of the best songs during the 80s are the Flock of Seagulls, Beat It, Thriller, You've Got Another Thing Comin' by Judas Priest, 2 Minutes Until Midnight by Iron Maiden, I Wanna Rock by Twisted Sister, and Bark At The Moon by Ozzy Osbourne.

IMO, you both should get Grand Theft Auto Official Soundtrack Box Set!

If you both like the 80s, IMO, you both should get GTA3 and GTA: Vice City for either PS2 or XBOX, if you have one or both of the systems.

I have both the systems, and both sets of games for each system, but I think the graphics and lighting are 3 to 4 times better on XBOX. Plus, XBOX has custome soundtrack capabilities, so you can download your favorite music cd's to XBOX's hardrive, and play them on GTA Double Pack, or on any other game that supports custom sountrack capability.

Just my two cents.

80's strike back cracks me up. It reminds me how dorky everything was back then. LOL.

GTA vice city rules. I've been addicted to it for several months now. I don't even really do the missions, just go around killing people and jumping cars over buildings.

That is one of the best and most entertaining things to do in Vice City.

I like using the tank cheat and blowing stuff up. The tank is great because if you flip over you can still use the gun to propel yourself... and blow stuff up.

XBox. Mostly though I just play NHL Hitz 2003. I've almost got the Penguins to the Stanley Cup and I'm building up my made up team, the Ba$tards. I'm the goalie and we have a pirate winger and zombie center. It's good times. Once I get their stats all the way up I'm going to take the Ba$tards to the Stanley Cup as well. I really don't own the XBox... I'm more borrowing it until my friend Yeti gets back from Iraq. I'll be sad to give up the XBox but I'll be really happy to see him.

 

GTA3 doesn't have any 80's music though... but Vice City does and it has a lot of good music. Then again, I cant help but listen to VCPR. Mourice Chavez (sp?) cracks me up lol. And I'm close to beating the game for the second time . Not to mention I beat GTA3 about 4 times lol. I have PS2, btw.

 

I taught a tank to fly on Vice City the other day. And I like listening to Vrock and Kchat. Oh, and Wildstyle pirate radio.

 

I just noticed Cop is almost to 1200 posts already. We should throw him a party.

 

Personally, my favorite radio stations are Vrock and Wave103.

I also like to listen to emotion98.3

One of the most customizable stations is the tape deck on the xbox version, since you can play your own cd's/songs you have saved to xbox's hardrive.

You both should get the GTA: Vice City Official Soundtrack that comes in a neat little box.

It was worth the $50, but I think now it is even cheaper, but I am not absolutely positive.

We decided it would be a more valuable asset to the company to have a "test monkey" rather than some one who "sniffs things" (though it was handy to have him in the lunch room if we thought food in the fridge was going bad...) And since I only have a limited amount of space in my profile's signature, lay-offs ensued (oh boy, now we're a real corporation!) Tadlock received a severance package with 45 minutes of pay and some airline peanuts. We may however call upon his services in the future, if we need anything else in the lunch room to be sniffed.

I wish. The only intelligence I could gather was that of TDMA coverage in western Kansas and eastern Colorado when in a Greyhound bus moving at about 70mph... the coverage, at least along I-70 was pretty good. I could gather no intel on the mysterious v600 because AT&T still hasn't released it yet. (You can see the full story in the v600 thread in the Motorola forum.) Sorry guys. I guess I have to get "cleaned" now, huh?
