MVNOs seem to be cropping up like weeds. Some are well known and others are not. For fun, let's see how many we can come up with in a list. For those that don't know, MVNO stands for Mobile VirtuaLNetwork Operator. This is a fancy name for reseller in that they buy wireless network time from and FCC licensed carrier and market it under a different brand name. Here is how this thread will work: Name ONE MVNO and the carrier's network they use. Name only one in your post and leave the rest for the next person. (List more than one in your post and it'll be deleted. ) I'll start it off.... Boost Mobile (NEXTEL/Sprint)
Is this for the US only? I'll submit: 7-11 SpeakOut (T-Mobile USA) There's a very comprehensive listing for most of the world here (national providers are always listed first and then the MVNOs for those countries are listed at the bottom of each country page): http://www.prepaidgsm.net/en/usa.html http://www.prepaidgsm.net/en/operators.html

Qwest Wireless (Sprint) McLeodUSA use to be an MVNO with Suncom (became AT&T Wireless ended with Cingular) after they sold there PCS licenses to US Cellular in 2002. And can we ever forget a famous defuncted MVNO MCI Wireless. :rotfl: Edited
Net10 is owned by TracFone. TracFone itself uses Cingular (and to a lesser extent, T-Mobile) in GSM areas. They use Verizon in CDMA areas. Not sure about other carriers though.
