T300p and V65p might sneak out first, it will be close. PTT will be "re-launched" this fall. Don't hold your breath on V810. Verizon may still pass on this phone.

I'm pretty sure the V60v is already available from Sprint through business channels or telesales or something like that.

I just did a search while posting this and it's for sale on the Sprint PCS web site.

I just had a thought about the v710 release. We know that VZW has a tendency to post info on new phones to their website under the 99999 zipcode about a week before launch - we saw it the Samsung a670 and again with the LX-7000. But the V710 is nowhere to be found. But here's my thought...

I remember three years ago when the v60c first came out, the stores had the phone in stock (limited quantities), but the website didn't list it for a few weeks after its launch. Isn't it possible that with the supposed "limited quantities" being distributed for the V710 (rumors are saying 40 per store, give or take), they're going to wait to put it on VZW.com until there's more stock available? And, as such, isn't it possible we could still see the phone launch with Flix & the VX-7000?

Just checked VZW with my zip (98107) and the VX7000 is available. Now if only they would list the v710! :)

Indeed the VX7000 has been released. I was in a Verizon store today and I had a chance to play with it. Pretty neat phone, lots of nice features and the picture quality for the camera was amazing. Two beefs- no bluetooth and two, the thing is huge, for today's standards anyways. It's a very meaty phone.

All in all, the newest Top of the line CDMA phone for LG. But I'd still rather wait for the v710

    The v710 is also huge.

on a side note, does anyone know the ETA of V810??? will it be released prior to V710?? I checked out the gsm equivalent of V810 which is the V878, it's a sweet phone! IMO, the build is more solid than the V710 and the size is similar to my current sammy a530. I guess I can sacrifice the bluetooth on v710 for the quality and size of v810.

Have you held a V710 in your hand? Both phones are produced at the same facility in China, so it is doubtful one has a better build quality than the other.

The latest release date information. The phone will be shipped next Friday, July 9th. It will most likely be approved to be released on July 6th. But as nobody will really have the phone until July 9th + shipping time the earliest it could possibly be in your hands is July 10th. So it looks like the week of July 12th would be the likely release date. This is dependant on a series of events that may or may not have been completed today, and with the approaching holiday weekend hopefully it happened. Don't believe any of the rumors on other forums about this phone failing very basic tests. It is one specific issue I've been told and the fix for this has been in testing for a week.

    Thanks for the info..

See people, now Bonoriffic is the one person on any forum anywhere that honestly knows anything about this, and relays honest information to you. I laugh when I look at all these morons on HoFo and PhoneScoop talking about software issues causing the phone to drop calls every 30 seconds, and about other misc. garbage that someone made up to get attention. Thanks, bono. Even though I no longer use Verizon and have plenty of negative things to say about them, I am excited to see this phone out, and think this phone could help bring better days for Moto and maybe even CDMA in general.

That's good news. Personally, I don't so much mind the launch of the V710 being pushed back - it gets the launch date closer to my next paycheck! :browani: I kid, I kid...

At one Verizon Wireless dealer chain in the San Francisco Bay Area, Future Wireless (formerly known as Future Communications) - They have in their flyer on the store window with both the LG VX7000 and the Motorola V710. The pricing for both the VX7000 and the V710 is the same. It's $240 - $70 Verizon Wireless Rebate - $50 Future Wireless Rebate = $120. I called them at 415-421-1288 and they said the V710 has not came in yet even though they have it in their flyers.

I have seen quite a few ads for the vx7000, but only this week saw one for the V710. Interesting that the pricing will be the same though...

Not to add any gossip to an already overhyped story............But..........

There is a guy on HoFo from Durango, CO. who said he called his local VZW Corp. store and they claim to have already received the v710 but won't be able to sell it until the 8th of July which is a Thursday.

I hate to be involved, much less the starter of any gossip, but just thought some of you would like to know.

This would validate bonoriffic's release date.

VZW store employees are not the most reliable sources of information. Maybe it was a dummy unit for display. I know there is a warehouse full of these things and July 9th is the best guess for when they will be shipped out. As I said before, this is dependant on many things and with the holiday weekend people don't always work too fast. Also I don't have a V710 hotline to call or anything, so my information is not up to the minute accurate.

I do know for a fact the phone has not gotten release approval, and it is very rare to send out the phone before that happens. Nobody wants to reflash a brand new phone so they wait until everything is approved to send it out.

I think it's called competition since if the V710 was priced too high, no one will be buying it except a few people. Anyways, here is the pic I snapped with my v80.

I work for an authorized retailer, and we're meeting with a Moto Rep on Wed. to train with some "new equipment." Shouldn't be long now. I'll respond Wed. afternoon with any info I have.

Possibly another indication that the 710's coming very soon...RadioShacks have begun receiving the Motorola Bluetooth headsets...in very small quantities. Look for them in stores next week.

This is the first legitimate information I've been able to find on the release of the v710 (which I've been following for almost 2 months now). Thank you!

PhoneScoop forums are a complete waste of bandwidth. Nothing but conjecture, rumor and namecalling.
