Motorola v60t phones problems

    Just recently purchased a motorola v60t phone and found out there are two problems when comparing it to another v60t phone. First, the newer phones don't have the BATTERY SAVE option in the INITIAL SETUP menu and secondly, the backlight on the external and internal screen is extremely dim. Can any shed some light into this. Thanks.
    Can it be that these second batch that were shipped out are like these now?
