Having such a hard time finding ringtones for the V60i. If anyone has any of the following (especially Scooter), I'll love ya forever:

Scooter - "Ramp! (The Logical Song)"
    Scooter - "Nessaja"
    Floorfilla - "Le Delire"
    Gigi D'Agostino - "I'll Fly With You (L'amour Toujours)"
Mellow Trax feat. Shaft - "Sway (Mucho Mambo)"
Hani - "Baby Wants To Ride"
    DJ Serg - "L'italiano"

    Thanks. :)

I have the same problem with mrtones.com. when i enter keystrokes like: 11270 - they don't work. but the songs that people have been posting here that are more like: 333 444 00 - these work great! do i have to convert the mrtones stuff to some other format?

Get a converter, find the file/song you want in Nokia RTTL format from any one of a zillion places found with a simple search on Google, paste into converter and then press convert. Bingo ! Perfect conversion for the V60i. I explained this in great detail earlier in this very same thread, including converter name, how to get password, how to use, etc. It took me just a few hours of reading and looking to find the answer to getting every song I want and this is my first cellphone ever, I knew absolutely nothing. I like being able to do things myself and it's soooo easy it's pathetic. Every song in the world is in Nokia RTTL format and are EASY to find with a simple Google search. The converter puts it in the 3333 000 22 etc format. Do a little reading, find your songs, convert them in a single click, put them into the phone, & have fun !

Ever wanted to get those customized ring tones but without the hassle of having to type them into your phone via the tiny keypads?

Well here is your answer ? SMS.

Simply send your phone the following SMS from any SMS Service or through your regular email. All you must do is replace the ??MELODY:? characters with the Tone??s Notes which you prefer.
    ***Note*** Melody 74 characters only

    BEGIN:IMELODY
    VERSION:1.2
    FORMAT:CLASS1.0
    MELODY:*4g3*4e3*4f4*4e4*4d3*4c3*4g3*5c3*4c3
    END:IMELODY

Once you receive the message on your phone.

    1. Highlight the Text Message
    2. [MENU]
    3. [STORE TONE]

And you are finished, you now have a new tone without the $1.99 charge (which my carrier, AT&T, invoices on my monthly bill).

i dont think any of these work with the cdma v60i. i have the coding workshop ringtone stuff, it doesn't work. either the tone is off, or the key is non-existant.

If you go to Mrtones.com, they have a lot of songs up there. It tells you the exact keys to press to make it work. Have fun!

This is your ringtone converted for v60i ATT only. If you have ATT just copy and paste this on ATT MSG service and put BEGIN:IMELODY at the beginning and END:IMELODY at the end and send it to your phone

    BEGIN:IMELODY#g3#g3c2#g2#g3c3#a2#g3f3r3r2#c3#c2#c3#c3#c3#c3#c3#c2#c2#c3c3#g2#g3#g3#g3#g3c3c3# g3#g3#g3c3#a3#a2#g3f3r3r2#g3#g3f3#g3#g3r3#g2f3#a2#a2END:IMELODY

Just remmember ATT only lets you send 110 characters. If you can find a MSG center that allows for more characters.

What is your provider? This is for ATT only (maybe Cingular I'm not sure) Also did you put BEGIN:IMELODY at the beginning and END:IMELODY at the end? It could also be that the MSG center you used did not allow all characters to go trough.

My provider is ATT, and I used the ATT web site to send the sms.... If I dont change none of the notes to the imelody it works...When I try to erase and put a different ringtone there it dont work... try it yourself...I copied the post:
    BEGIN:IMELODY
    VERSION:1.2
    FORMAT:CLASS1.0
    MELODY:*4g3*4e3*4f4*4e4*4d3*4c3*4g3*5c3*4c3
    END:IMELODY

Then I erased the notes where it says melody, and put my own there...It does not work...Even if you were to just erase a couple of notes from the post and send it, it still dont work.....I dont know what i'm doing wrong....

    ________________________________________________________________________________
    Try: BEGIN:IMELODY*4g3*4e3*4f4*4e4*4d3*4c3*4g3*5c3*4c3END:IMELODY
Copy and paste EXACTLY as you see here.
Yours did not start with --BEGIN:
