Help; I just bought a used Motorola v60 and went to put in my sim card from my old ATT phone and I can't figure out where it goes. I looked underneath the battery but there is no place to put it. Help; I really would appreciate some clue of where it goes. The phone only has so many places it can go and i can't find it; thanx

What is the designation? v60t? V60c? Does it have an ESN or an IMEI? If it has an ESN, it's a TDMA or CDMA phone that doesn't take a SIM card. Does it have a carrier logo on it?

Oh No. I think its a v60g; with no logo on it; I don't know what the other stuff is. I bought it on Ebay; I just assumed it took a sim card. What a waste of money; its a cute phone and works good but I guess I can't use it with my sim card.

A Motorola V60G should be GSM. I thought the SIM card was stored in the top of the flip on those, or am I thinking of another model? Its been ages since I've had a V60.

Jay, I think you're thinking of the Motorola v66, which had the SIM card in the flip under the Motorola bezel.

I've never used a v60g but it should be GSM, as Jay said. You could try and pry up the bezel on the front and see if it comes up easily. I don't know.

Doesn't it have a label, under the battery, that says the model number, and serial number? If the serial number says "ESN", it is not GSM. If it says "IMEI", it is GSM.

Even if that phone is GSM, the V60g did not have 850 Mhz, which AT&T uses extensively. It wouldn't be very useful, in the U.S.
