You can try calling Cingular for the unlock code for the v3.

Good luck with calling the provider, I recommend finding a tech that works on cell phones and see if he can get it unlocked for you. The service provider will ask why, are you unhappy with their service? bunch of stupid questions with a few intelligent ones thrown in. C/S normally won't help you unlock the phone in case that it has been stolen or being used to steal service.

Yeah, You'll probably have to use a unlocking service to unlock the phone, as far as removing the locked preloaded content this can be done w/ MPT & a data cable.

With my Samsung E715 called up t-mobile, and i told them that i needed it unlocked for cingular... No quetions asked, except to call back and my email. (+old number) i called back the next week, and got a unlock code that worked, the guy even lead me through it. He told me that it may not work, and that there were other possible codes that he could give me to unlock it. Lemme know if anyone wants to buy a pimped out E715.

DO NOT POST YOUR PHONE'S SERIAL NUMBER, ESN OR IMEI HERE.

You get ONE warning, then you're gone.

We do not provide unlocking services. If you need your phone unlocked, you're welcome to browse the Buy / Sell / Advertise forum, with the understanding that none of the posts in there are endorsed by Wirelessadvisor.com.

To the O.P. -- you will need to either contact Orange UK for your unlock code (they generally give it out after one year's commitment is up) or you will need to go to one of the zillions of unlocking places, most of which are in London.
