Motorola Mobility Unveils the New Motorola RAZR™: Impossibly Thin Meets Head-turning Innovation *Press Release* See also attached infographic and pictures.
Sweet! Dual-core 1.2 GHz processor,1GB of RAM, and 4G LTE. Very impressive hardware specs, could be the best on the market at the moment.
The RAZR was a great phone, and they should have left it at that. After they released the RAZR it seemed everything in their lineup for the next 6 or 7 years was some sort of RAZR. Just when you think they've finally given up on beating the dead horse, they do this. They should have created a unique name, and let it be its own thing.
Yea, I agree. Actually, I was looking for a flip-out keyboard. That would have been unique and worthy of the RAZR name
Maybe Apple has gotten into Moto's head and they are jealous of Apple's simple naming convention. How about iRAZR for this phone? ...and all Moto phones henceforth. :lmao:
. I just read the battery on the Droid RAZR is not replaceable. I guess to achieve the ultra-thinness. ...either that or it's a tribute to Steve Jobs Actually, I noticed just about all the Moto's coming out these days are lacking physical keypads My Milestone (Droid) is coming up on 2 year old and I'm looking to replace it, but not finding much out there
I wanted a hardware keyboard on my new phone, but the choices of smartphones with keyboards are very limited, and I didn't like the selection. I did find that the on screen keyboards are a lot better now than they have been in the past.
I'm not going to get overly excited on this one because I just have one question: what about battery life? Android smartphones have not been known for good battery life and when you create a thinner phone, the battery life is sacrificed somehow. And if you ask me, based on those pictures it doesn't look so revolutionary-thin as the original RAZR was when it first came out.
The first RAZR's never really impressed me. Yes they were thin, but that was all they really had going for them. This new one though looks great, but I do agree with bobolito, I'm really worried that the look is at the extent of the battery life. Either way, it really does look nice.
Yes, it is a nice looking smart phone, but when you read an press release article that mentions nothing about battery life, it can't be that great.
No removable (thin) battery? Deal killer for me. The removable battery is one of the best features that I like about my current Droid.
The WHITE version of this phone is available tomorrow, Dec 15th. Why does the white version of phones always come out later?
They design them in black and than turn around and work on the white shell which usually requires some tweaking do to different properties of the materials.
I never used Motorola...but I saw here and planning to purchase it...but don't know about latest one and their features. So can you help?
