Hello, Maybe you can help me.... I have a Motorola Startac 7868W which I purchased in 2002, from a promotion with Alltel phone service. I now live in South America and I want to hook my phone here. Where is the chip? They need to insert a new chip to activate the phone. Also, I tried the *#06# Send to get my IMEI number so the phone can be deblocked, (to eliminate Alltel as the service provider) and it doesn't work. I looked under the battery, and the number is not there either......Do you think you can help me resolve this problem? I really don't want to buy another phone..........I love my Startac........
