Does anyone have experience with either phones? They look identical and the specs look similar... I noticed battery life is better on the Razr and it holds more contacts. Anything else?
The A900 Blade has high speed EVDO, Verizon's Razr has EVDO, Cingular's Razr has slow speed EDGE/GRPS but I believe there is an HSDPA version coming if not already available. Key item is that Sprint officially allows USB tethering of A900 Blade as a high speed modem to PC, Verizon does not and I'm not sure that Cingular does - slower speed even if the case.
Alltel also has EVDO. I know that with the V3c you can use the Bluetooth as a modem. Don't know much about the Blade but I do know I love my Razr.
Blade is better. My friend got a Razr and the wireless is slow and it has WAY less features. I think the camera is a little better though.
Looking at your username makes me wonder if you're not being a little bias.. i do agree though, the Blade does have more features than the Razr, but not for long.
I am the current owner of the RAZR V3X and my wife has the A900 Samsung BLADE. The Razr v3x is so much better than the original razr v3. My son has the v3 and my v3x has a bigger and more colored screen. The RAZR has at least 3 differeent models RAZR V3 RAZR V3I RAZR V3X RAZR V3C AND let's see how many blades are there SAMSUNG A900 BLADE (Only One) :lmao: Samsung just wants to suck up with the competition but won't admit that the v3,v3i,v3x, AND v3c RAZRS keep getting better one by one.:lmao:
Starpower welcome to WA... Have you had any reception problems with your 1900 mHz band V3X? which version do you have, the Vodafone or 3G?
The greath thing is that I got the v3xvodafone and 3g from Europe in Febuary and I think motorola doesn't want the v3x here in america THE regular USA razr is just a cheap imitation of the European line of the razr
Sorry to make fun of anyone who owns the v3 razr but u really should get latest models of the razr because I owned the razr before it came out and I didn't like it the mintue I saw it
the thing about the razr v3x is that it isn't as thin as the normal razr but it's overloaded with fun feautres
OK thanks for your input, i'm going to ask to please try to make one whole post instead of posting a comment every other minute.
Sorry I didn't know is it ok if we add links to websites because I wanted to show you a link to a ebay auction selling a v3i razr made of gold (D&G) http://cgi.ebay.com/DOLCE-GABBANA-G...9122225101QQcategoryZ3312QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
thanks but there's no need, that's been discussed already....http://forums.wirelessadvisor.com/motorola/14331-v3i-razr-gold.html?highlight=dolce
I prefer the RAZRs styling to that of the A900 and with the new RAZR models being released in the near future I don't think the A900 can compete. However, if I were a Sprint customer I'm pretty sure the A900 would be the phone I would use. I just don't see any Sprint handsets (other than the Palm Treo 650) that I want. I'm pretty thankful I'm not a Sprint customer, though.
Ya I have a RAZR and it S-U-C-K-S. My little brother has a A900 and I wish i had his phone. His camera looks better and it can rotate. His internet is way faster and he can put mp3's on his phone and listen to them with his phone closed. He can also update his phone when a new version of firmware is avaible. His video's can be as long as he wants. He put a music video on it. His screen looks brighter. I like his menu layout more and he has more feature's on his phone and he can do more stuff on his A900 then I can do on my RAZR. Shure my phone looks somewhat better but I would rather have his phone and be able to do more stuff, instead of have a better looking phone and not be able to do not that much stuff. You people pick wich one is better, but I like his A900 more then my RAZR and I aint scared to admit it.
