How do I get into the field test menu on the Razr to see how many db's I am receiving?

Do I need to do a seem edit? Or do I enter a specific series of numbers?

I ran a search and I couldn't find out how to get to the hidden menu.

    TIA.

You can also seem edit to enable the engineering menu. I would recommend a custom flex that has engineering enabled though. Check out www.motomodders.net For a full explanation of the Engineering menu go here: http://www.motomodders.net/portals/0/fem_engineering_.html

    Happy Modding Gamer!

Hi! I'm from Brasil so my English sucks...

I have a Motorola V3 and everytime I turn it on, there's a screen with many white lines and an orange background. In the white lines there are many numbers and letters. The titles (the writing of the first lines) are: P Serving Idle/, P Serving Misc, P Adjacent Cell, P Neighbours, P Reselection, P Paging Params and P SysInfos. The only buttons that seems to work are up and down, that alternate this titles and the values of the lines, and the top right buttons, that adds a P on the extreme right of the first line. Is this the Field Test that you were discussing here? If it is, how in the name of God can I make my phone work normally?

Note: none of the buttons make the screen dissapear, it's impossible to enter the menu and reset the phone. I tried to insert an working chip and call it's number, but even so this white/orange screen didn't dissapear (the phone rings, but it's impossible to receive the call, and the screen remains).

Ok, to make the screen disappear you need to hit your menu key then immediately hit the left soft key. Then go to settings/engineering/field test status. Select "Availibility" and change it to off. Your phone will now be normal.

    Buena Suerte!

Well first of all, the answer is in the post right before yours. You need to quickly hit the menu key, then the left soft key. This will toggle you in & out of field test. To disable field test so it doesn't come up every time you turn on the phone repeat the process you did to activate it.
