Launch is determined by Verizon testing schedule. It is early. Phone is best Q variant so far. I like mine.
How does the size compare to the Q or Q9? How is the keyboard? Can you give some deatails on it? RAM ROM Proc Camera Screen extras?
Im sure Im getting annoying, but is there any new info on this phone? I need replace my Q and im waiting for something worthwhile. Thanks
No that isn't it. That phone has a higher megapixel camera. Not sure if it has the GSM / CDMA worldphone feature of Napoleon. The user guide for Napoleon would suggest it won't even be a Q branded phone, but maybe that was just the first draft. Trials are over, so it must be getting closer to release.
Since there has been nothing new, I will assume that this device is not coming to market. Are there any Motorola smartphones coming out for verizon in the next few months? If not I might have to get a Samsung
Is this what you're looking for? If so it looks as if its already released. Motorola Q9m / Q9c Specs & Features (Phone Scoop)
No. I have that. I was looking for something either like Motorola Napoleon Q9: Verizon’s World Phone : Boy Genius Report or Motorola Alexander and Attila spotted, but not clearly - Engadget Thanks
I've been checking this thread every week or so to see if anybody has any news. Where is this phone??????? If you are considering the Samsung Saga, don't do it. I used to have a WM5 Q, and just bought the Saga because i couldn't wait any longer for the napoleon. The Saga's going back - it has to be the worst implementation of WM6.1 pro i've ever seen. Maybe i just don't like WMpro, but WM5 smartphone is infinitely easier to use and navigate both as a pda and as a phone. The Saga just takes too many clicks to do anything, and the mouse cursor is cool but in the end to fussy when you just want to look up a contact and make a call. When i pull the thing out of my pocket, or pick it up off the table, the screen is inevitably in the "change clock" screen (why would i want to do that it's set automatically!!!).
What does "it won't be released to the general public" mean? Does that mean b2b can still get it through business channels? If so when?
The phone was canceled. The group that developed the phone has been laid off. Windows Mobile and Motorola is a combination you may not hear much about in the future.
If anyone is interested I have a Motorola Napoleon Q for sale, brand new, works great with Verizon, AT@T, and T-Mobile..Has not been released in the united states yet, any questions please contact me at POLO434@aol.com
I have purchased this phone from a seller on ebay. I am having trouble activating it on verizon. I can change the MEID online, but when I hit *228, it says it cannot active. I have set it up manually as well, but it still does not work. I called customer care and they said everything looks correct, but it is showing up as a test device and will not activate. Can anyone help? TIA
