I have a Motorola 2-way and I can't imagine not owning a Motorola pager in the future. They've been a staple in the paging business since it's inception. See the article announcing Motorola getting out of the pager business.

    Hi Tom,

As the second paragraph stated: "The company said it will focus its pager development efforts instead on two-way messaging products for wireless telephone networks."

With all the cheap pagers capable of 2-way text messaging on the market, perhaps Motorola felt it was more lucrative to focus on the network side.
