Motorola better have no less than a 64k color screen on that phone, otherwise its just another paperweight in my book.
Lemme try and explain. CDMA...potential customer base 50-150 million GSM....poetentail customer base...1.5 Billion plus. Who would you make phones for?
While your initial premise is undoubtedly correct, that is, GSM has a greater client base, I think you reasoning is slightly flawed. Manufactuers are not producing these phones, in whatever format, and then hoping a carrier picks it up. That is not cost effective. I think it is more accurate that Spint, Verizon, T-Mobile, whoever, has commissioned phones from the manufacturers with whatever specs/features/design they want. Anyway, phones capable of operating on multiple networks are the future. Just my 2 cents.
Yes, this is true, since wireless providers don't seem to be able to agree on which technology works best. This is where PFP, Inc. will make it's fortune: the world's first AMPS/CDMA/TDMA/GSM/iDEN phone using .3 watts of power but with the strength of a 3 watt bag phone.
I believe that's the only answer Ceno is *allowed* to give when it comes to something like this. Unless of course, he was just wanting to F* around with us....nah, that's not Ceno, he never does stuff like that.
This what I like. Finally, something to think about on these forums. All hail Ceno for breathing life back into our discussions
It leads to a lot of speculation. Oh, damn that non-disclosure proprietary information clause! Damn it straight to Cleveland!
I just want to see the rest of the damn phone... not just the outside and the housing around the buttons. Give us something here, Motorola!!!
my hunch is that it will look like the v60t display and keypad , obviusly the outer color has the light blue with the silver.
I'm gonna go along with the hunch, but, possibly a v60p looking antenna? Of-course don't know for sure, but, still.
Just as with the v60p before it came out, not much info is allowed to be posted. We shall see as time goes on..hold steady guys, hold steady.
I heard something about for X-Mas time or shortly after that..before Feb. 2004 perhaps?? Not rock solid info, but, it's something.
