Here's a tip, ringtone fans. If you are looking for composable ringtones for the Motorola 120 and Motorola v60, check the Ringtones Forum in the old forums. The thread was started way back in December of 2002 by Rallykid and now has 960 replies. You should be able to find pretty much any ringtone you may be looking for, at least for the 120 & v60. The path to that forum is below.

Starting at the main forum page for the current forums...
The Old WA Forums>Equipment Discussion Forum>Ringtones, Games, Wallpapers, Screensavers, etc.>New v120e and v60i Ringtones

Edit: Or you can just click thislink

The search function is still intact so you can search for the song you are looking for instead of looking through 960 replies about ringtones.

    Hi,

I have searched the old forums and haven't found this anywhere yet. Can anyone tell me where I can find RTTTL/motorola v120e code for this tune - available as mp3 here: here. It's the 'L Word' theme from the pilot, not actually used on the show currently.

    Thanks!

I couldn't find any AFI ringtones on there. Or was I extremely mistaken?
Anyways, I'd be eternally gratefull If I could have some AFI ringtones. Any or all of the following would be awesome:
    Silver and Cold
    Off of Sing the Sorrow:
    Girls Not Grey
    Death of Seasons
    Bleed Black
    This Celluloid Dream
    ...But home is nowhere
Off of Black Sails in the Sunset:
    Strength Throught Wounding
    Narrative of Soul Against Soul
    No Poetic Device
    The Last Kiss
    At A Glance
    God Called In Sick Today
    Off of All Hallow's E.P.:
    Fall Children
    Halloween
The Boy who Destroyed the World

Thanks in advance for any help!
    ~Michelle

Is there an easy way to take a song and get it converted into a ringtone for the Motorola 120?

So, I finally have a handset capable of using composable ringtones, a Motorola v60t and apparently, there is a difference between the ringtone formats for the v60t and say, the v60x or v60i... why Motorola would do this, I do not know but what I need to know, now that I have some rintone codes copied is if they will work on a v60t. I will be taking them home and trying them tonight but can anyone post examplese of v60t ringtones and v60i ringtones so that I might tell the difference between them and, therefore save myself some time. In the old forums (and, I assume in the new ringtone forums) they don't really tell you if the ringtones are for the v60t or v60i. To quote Jerome Seinfeld, "What is the deal?"

Try these two ringtones - they are fully tested and work great on my v60 - they sound exactly like the songs, and the timing of the repeat rings is even the same in the songs. I wrote the songs, so I should know. Search for "Arcacy" on iTunes or amazon.com to hear samples of the original songs.

    Arcacy - Educated Lines:

    *3#a4*3#a3*3#a4**4c3*4#d4*4f3*4#g4*4f2;*4#d1r2*4f3*4f4*5c3r4*5c3r4*5c3*4#a4*4#g3*4f4*5c3*5c4*5c4r3*5c3*4#a4*4#g3*4f4*4#g3r4*4f3r4*4f3*4#d4*4#d3*4#d4*4#d3r4*4#d3*4#d4*4f3r4*4#d3*4#d2*3#a1r11r1

Arcacy - Keep in Touch (outro)

    *5g4*5g4*5g4*5#d4*5#d4*5#d4*5f4*5f4*5f4*5c4*5c4*5c4*4#a4*4#a4*5c4r4

Try these out - and email me to let me know what you think!

    Thanks,
    Steve

My wife has a Motorola 120 from TracFone. I've looked all over (including the aforementioned old forum) for 867-5309/Jenny for it (yes, that's her name), but no dice.

Anyone know where I might find it, or a converter program?

I can't find it, but is there a ring-tone composed for the Stargate SG-1 Theme, or the movie?? How would one compose it if not? Is there some kind of directions for composing ring-tones? I am a complete idiot when it comes to this. Rancid Hooligan seems to have a grip on it.

"The teddy bear that holds the 'I love you" heart does not love you at all. It is an unliving, unholy thing filled only with stuffing. Just as the Western infidel is not bestowed with the blessings of Allah, so shall he go unloved by the false bear."
