Sometimes, others say they can barely hear me or sound muffled. The volume is to the max and I'm in a quiet room during the call. I thought it was just the other person's phone but it happens with other people as well?

I called verizon customer service spoke with a technical rep who knew nothing, and wasted my time. I dont think this will correct the issue, any suggestions ?

Jared, sounds like a phone issue. I've not had any issues with my phone like this at all. The only irritating bug I experience is Wi-Fi losing connectivity. Other than that, no problems.

Hi Mike, thanks as always for your insight. I had spoke with tech support late last night and they were horrible. They had me do a hard reset which i dont think worked. I called again this afternoon and the tech rep is sending me a new phone. I hope this is an isolated issue. I guess the good techs work during normal bussiness hours. Do you have any issues with the speed of the phone or freezing up?

I have only had to pull the battery out once or twice in the 4 months I've owned the phone. No issues with speed. There are brief moments of lag, but absolutely nothing of concern. With all this phone does, I do expect hiccups. By and large, the phone has been fantastic. Far exceeding my expectations. Even with all the new and improved phones coming out, I am very content with the Droid X.

You just got a bad one and I'm glad they're replacing it for you (I hope at no cost).

The WiFi issue does happen more often than I would like. It's connected, but not getting internet. It's not my router, as this happens regardless of whatever WiFi network I connect to (home, friend's house, relatives). Regardless, the WiFi bug is not a problem that overrides all the phone does and my overall happiness with it. It's the best phone I've ever owned.
