The clock is counting down, and unless another delay pops up we are well under 24hrs away from the Moto Q be released by Alltel. From what I hear at the local store pricing is 99.99 after rebate unless you want to go for the full retail which will run you a little under 400.00. All in all not a bad price if this is what you are looking for. The key thing is though after months and months and delay after delay *knock on wood* the Q may actually be out by the morning.
That's correct, $99.99 (after rebate) with 24-month agreement and $389.99 without an agreement. Just like I said in this thread.
Yeah this is the offical countdown threat hehe 389.99 isn't bad at all for the Q though that cheaper than most of the other smartphones and some non smartphones.
I also heard somewhere they included a bunch of features on this one, the corporate features. Not sure what they are. And that that was one of the reasons one of the delays.
I got the first one in my town. I was at the store at 8:30, it opened at 9. I can't tell you how much happier I am with this phone than I was with that piece of crap pocketpc.
After that ringing endorsement? Uh, no thanks. Actually, I rather like the PPC6700... but I like the Q better!:browani:
It didn't take long for them to raise the price up, full retail went from 389.99 to 409.99. Guess they figured having the phone cheaper than the KRZR was a little odd, so rather than lower the price of the KRZR why not up the price on the Q.
I noticed that it was cheaper than the KRZR and only $20 or $25 more than the RAZR V3m. Too bad they raised the price for the Q, not that I could justify purchasing one.
dont forget about the data charges you will need to have on your account...they've completely revamped the plans so you cant cancel the data after a few days....its in stone...so 99.00 for a 2 year plan is great but.... not for an extra 30.00 to 50.00 added to your bill every month....just for pushed data...good luck B-
