I was just on the phone with Worldcom Wireless Customer Service. I've had them for just over 2 years. I got a great deal for back then and a free Nokia phone. Anyway, I just called to cancel my service and was told I couldn't! I had just asked her who provides my service and she told me AT&T. Then she says sorry, but all our AT&T accounts are locked at the moment. She said they are planning to contact us all in 2 days. She didn't know what that was about or wouldn't tell me at least.

Worldcom is getting out of the Wireless Service. That is probably what this is all about. Probably they are working out a deal to convert everyone on Worldcom to AT&T or some other carrier.
