I know there are ways to send free MMS, but is there a way to receive a free MMS message? I was also wondering if I could receive the MMS message with WIFI. I purchased an XV6700, and hooked it up to Verizon with the Pay-Per-KB plan. I have unlimited txt, pix, flix.. to anyone on any network. But someone told me that it charges to send pix messages on this phone.. is this true? If it is, is there a way to receive them without paying for data?
There shoud not be any additional data charges provided that you are receiving the Video/picture messages while on the Verizon network. If you go into any extended or roaming areas, data fees will apply. If you are only using data to send MMS messages, then it is easy to keep track use and fight them if you notice any abnormal charges. What does customer service and/or website say about this?
I haven't read anything, they seem to keep "in the dark" about this. I have read that they do charge, and that they don't charge, I guess just wait till this monthly statement is up, then call them and ask "what the heck?" Thanks!
