I would be willing to bet someone had her memorize a few key phrases and she got thrown off by the question she probably jumbled them up, instead of actually listening to the question and taking a moment to think about it. I am proud to be a U.S. American though!:biggrin:

I'll tell you what, she sure doesn't sound like she's from South Carolina, at least not an SC native.
People here in the Upstate have that hard Southern accent.
I stand out from the rest of the people I know here in SC, because of my Jersey accent & attitude.

If I had to guess, I'd say she resides near Myrtle Beach or Charleston, but was originally from NY or CA.
The Southern accent isn't as strong in the SC Lowcountry, plus you are more likely to run into a tourist than a local.
I went to Myrtle Beach last August, at the height of the tourist season, and I barely saw any SC licence plates, and it was pretty crowded.

 

You should have been there when I was, lots of SC plates along with all the other states in the country.

It's sad she messed that up & I bet she was so nervous as was stated she didn't listen to the question carefully, that is one thing I try to do when getting asked questions, take my time to think about the question & answer it slowly & deliberatly so something like this doesn't happn. I have been caught a few times speechless or stuttering from not being able to answer or trying to answer too quick & that can be a bad feeling. Either that or the blond went to the brain.

 

I'm guessing she's from the State of Confusion, where common sense and intelligence are frowned upon...

 

When I was there, the majority of the plates were NC, NJ, NY, PA, FL & MD. One out of every 20 cars had SC.
O well NC had the most...
And it was just like the Jersey Shore traffic (like route 37 into Seaside)

Whatever the case, she's been spending too much time with Blondies! LOL

 

I would take Myrtle beach so called traffic over the Jersey shores traffic & the GSP any day. 2 weeks ago I went to AC it took me almost 4 hours for a 2 hour drive. I won't go near Seaside in the summer unless I go real early or late, 37 is another nightmare for sure.

I guess if I looked at it NC did have the most & there were a lot of other states, but suprisingly a lot of SC plates, maybe I lucked out & was there at the right time.

I recommend she be banned from appearing anywhere. Except maybe for a cow pie festival somewhere in Podunkville.

I checked out some of the other videos related to this one. She appeared on the Today Show to "discuss" what happened. So she claims she was really nervous, appearing for the first time on national TV, and didn't realize what she was saying. Now she's laughing at herself because she's "human, just like everybody else and I made a mistake and everyone makes mistakes", blah, blah, blah. She's just trying to save face.

I don't feel sorry for over-privileged bimbos whose life ambition is to be Miss Teen Idiot. She's too shallow to know any better. It's obvious during the Today interview..
