Message saying "Phone off" on Sprint Phone

    Hello,

    My phone has a banner in the upper left hand corner that says "Phone off." (even though the phone is turned on) I did not mean to enable this, and I don't know how to fix it.

    I have a Sprint PCS Sanyo MM-7400.

    Any thoughts on how I can turn my phone back on?

    Hi there, sounds like you have "Airplane Mode turned on.

    1. Press Menuto access the main menu.
    2. Select Settings and press OK
    3. Select Others and press OK.
    4. Select Airplane Mode and press OK. (You will see a message on
    the display.)
    5. Press OK or(left softkey) to continue.
    6. Select Off and press OK.

    For post completeness,

    Airplane Mode is available on many phones under a Miscellaneous or Network Settings Menu, it allows you to use your "phone" while traveling via air. It disables all RF transmission and active receipt on the phone, but allows you to continue running your phone/PDA.

    this way when your on a flight and want to have access to your games and calendar and what not you can put it in phone off or airplane mode..........most airlines accept this
