Re: I Have Completed the Florida Master Naturalist Program! Very impressive. Congratulations!! I would love to come down there and tour the swamps with you some day. I'm sure I'd learn a lot. SW
Re: I Have Completed the Florida Master Naturalist Program! Thanks Steve. You definitely would. We would love to take you and your family and/or friends (or anyone else on WA) on one of our exceptional tours. We love to teach our customers all about the environment, history of the area, animals, plants, etc. My dad and I talk almost nonstop during the day (except at our vendors we let them do the talking). By the end of the day, you will have learned several facts and tons of information. We don't just take the customers to the destinations, drop them off, wait for them, and pick them up like some of our competitors do. We have a FULL commentary throughout the day. Check out my profile for our website located under my homepage section of the contact info tab.
Well Gamer this is a very late post. I just happened to see this thread now, :O but I would just like to send a congrats out to you for the many accomplishments you have posted on here so far. By the looks of it, you're on a good track. Keep it up!
A few weeks ago I knew very little about fiber optics. After some crash-courses and trial and error, I learned how to configure and provision a multi-cast GPON FTTH network that streams 120 IP-TV channels (and internet and phone) from the head-end (the ISP) all the way to your livingroom with 100% fiber (FTTH=Fiber To The Home). The "acceptance testing" was scheduled for today and tomorrow. Acceptance testing is when I show the ISP how everything is configured run a series of tests to prove that everything is working like it should, and then they sign-off and I hand the system over to them. The testing was scheduled for 2 days and some problems were anticipated, but this morning I completeted them without any problems in less than 2 hours :highclap: Feelin' pretty good about myself today
Thanks guys ...actually I was looking at Gamers post above about the Nature Program he took, and was thinking I really need to get outdoors more, I spend too much in dark rooms surrounded by machines. Don't get me wrong, I like that too, just need a little more balance I guess... Yea, that's what I told my boss when I asked him to raise my salary by 23x but no dice :O
My photography business has grown tremendously over the past few months. I just completed a photography segment for a news channel here in northern Michigan. Also had an interview with the same news channel today about the northern lights display that occured last night and it was aired earlier this evening along with a few of my images My website is travispeltz.com
I closed down the website about a year ago because I didn't have the free time to update it :/ My day job takes up most of my time, unfortunately. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
@TWX: oh, sorry. I just noticed that the date/time stamp from posts are no longer displayed. I assumed it was something recent.
