Hey everyone, Im sorry if this ? has been answered a million times if so please direct me to the answer, i am in no way technologically inclined so i might not be putting 2 and 2 together or something. I just bought the T-Mobile magenta razr and i LOVE it, what i dont love is the service and Verizon just put towers in on the site of my work and is offering a really good discount on service. Can my tmobile razr be unlocked to work on the vzn network and if so how do i go about it and does this mean that i just get my phone unlocked (however) and then get a phone with a sim card (probably one that was offered for free) and put the vzn sim card in the tmobile phone. As you can see i am LOST... any advice would be great. BTW i saw the new pink razr vzn is offering and i dont care for it as much... any advice would be awesome... have a great night!

    Señora Kristina, welcome to WA...

If you unlock your T-Mobile Razr it will not work with Verizon's network, T-Mobile works on the GSM network and Verizon on the CDMA, they are not compatable, also another thing to note is that Verizon does not use sim cards.

Kristina, even though both carriers offer the Razr, each phone is made differently, one is a CDMA version and the other a GSM version..

ahhhh.... i gotcha, im just sucking it up and dealing with the tmobile i guess :( my only issue is i dont get any signal at work and thats how i pass my time (texting lol) but oh well. I'm just leaving sprint, where i had excellent service, but im a geek and am easily amused by pretty things and this pink is just too cute :O

I hear you so why not try the Verizon Pink Razr? you are lucky that Verizon carries the Razr now, it took them about a year after Cingular to finally release their version and the Pink one was just released today, talk about good timing for you.;)

you're so sweet for letting me bug you... i know im going to go tomorrow to look at verizon's and see what i think, but in the pics i still prefer my magenta lol. I still have my sprint activated, so i might order the verizon and just have all 3 going and make up my mind what one i dont like the least.... I get a 25% discount on any vzn phones/plans but i cant use it online i dont think,, i'll probably end up getting that one though... we'll see!
