Hi all, If I add the unlimited M-2-M somewhere in the middle of my billing cycle, will the charge be prorated for that month. Also, can I unsubscribe from this feature later on, when I am still on a contract? Thanks in advance for advise.
Since the rate plan itself is what is under contract, I would think you could remove the M2M (or any other add-on's) at any time after adding it.
I believe the rate plan probabally includes M2M not sure what rate plan you have. Or it might even be the family plans that have the M2M included. not quit sure.
They had/have both available with or without M2M, most of the 1000 Anytime minute plans didn't include M2M as well as MyFav plans and it was an add on option.
True, but I only have the get more national plan with 600 anytime and unlimited night and weekend minutes for $ 39.99. I am considering: 1) add on m-2-m ($ 6.99) and 400 text messages ($ 4.99)- no contract extension OR 2) Get myFaves 600 ($49.99 per month) and text messages ($ 4.99)- contract extension The myfaves is definitely more expensive for my needs, so I want to make sure that it wil be worth it. Also, thanks cailiff for your input.
i think if you add in the middle of a billing period then they wait and add it at then but if you remove.......then they prorate.............at least thats how i think it works
I added the M-2-M today and the confirmation said that the service will be activated within 24 hours and that I will receive a prorated bill for this month. Hopefully, it is tru and I dont have to call customer service again after I get my bill.
Yes, add-ons like M2M or Total Internet are prorated from the date they were added, but major plan changes take effect at the beginning of your next billing cycle. At least this has been my experience.
like when i aded texting...........they said that it wouldnt be added until the next billing cycle.........but with T-Mobile i simply went on tzones and ordered it and it was ready nthat second...........kinda weird but okay
I added the service (M-2-M) yesterday online through my T-mobile account and this morning, I got a text message confirming that the change was effective since March 05,07 (yesterday).
it does depend on the company.....i mean whether or not they will ad it or remove it right away and if they will prorate charges
I have this plan (see my sig) I think it's better deal (500SMS is included), I don't have to worry the SMS rate increase
if you do it through CS, you can add it right away with prorated charge WARNING: doing this way may lose ANY grandfathered stuff if you do it on my t-mobile, you have to wait till next bill cycle, but you won't lose grandfathered stuffs (you can see them when checking out)
