Is there a way, that when I download a ringer from a website that I can make it louder? Also, is there any really good sites for free ringers or screensavers? I already know of a few such as 3gvisioncorrection and matrixm but I need a few more...Thanx a lot!!!!

There's not a setting you can make on the phone (if that's what you're asking), other than the general volume control. I'm not sure about MIDI, but I'm guessing that a music creation package can control those settings. As far a QCP files, it's pretty easy to change the volume when their still in WAV format. You can use Windows Sound Recorder to increase and decrease a WAV's volume. Then convert it to QCP. I've read of converters that change QCP to WAV, but all I've used is the other direction WAV to QCP since all the tweaking happens in the WAV.

I am disappointed by the ringers I have downloaded. The volume is considerably low compared to the volume of the ringers already on the phone.

I agree that some are quieter (especially the "romantic" tunes), but I've also come across the same number of MIDI's that have a punch. The 1812 overature, Micky Mouse Club, "You Have Mail," etc. are a few that I have on my phone and quiet they ain't. Since MIDI files are basically "sheet music" there must be a way to tell the phone to play the song a bit louder. I'll have to surf the net and see what free MIDI software is out there.
