Hey All, Been a silent lurker for long time, seldom poster. We're back with VZW after a 2+ year hiatus with Cingular. Can't say enough good things about the 8300. One minor issue, one of the speakers, or little cover to the speaker, seems to be loose. Any of you all 8300 owners notice the same with yours? Ron
That's odd. I've been looking at this phone as my NE2 date is fast approacing. hopefully a simple fix. if, not just exchange it for a new one.
Maybe it's supposed to float a bit, I don't know. But I'm thinking not, because it's only one of the speakers. It's not so bad that I think it's going to pop off or anything. Exchange is an option, especially since I'm still within 15 days and haven't mailed off the rebate yet.
I have had this phone for only two days, but haven't noticed any loose speaker covers. The phone seems to be quite sturdy. I would return it for a replacement before it becomes a problem later on.
