I had the 19.00 voice stream package with the free nokia phone. The phone was great as was the sevice. I recently terminated the coverage because I used the daily service very little and used the week end service mostly and still never went over 6 hours for the month which did not justify the $23.00 after tax monthly bill. Is there any alternative via pre paid availblw or new services for my area in the near futur[IMG]
Are there any sources for pre paid cards at a discount without any minimum purchase?

I would say that I would probally have stayed with the voicestream plan

    Jack

P.S. Prepaid will be at least 15+ a month

I agree with jack, as to stay with that plan with VoiceStream, Because prepaid minutes are much more than post paid, so I advise you to stay, And as for new service in your area, How do you expect for us to tell you when you have not identified the area in which you are from, it would have been very helpful if you did included it.

If you was happy with VoiceStream you should have stayed with them. By the way if you read his profile it states that he is from Brooklyn, NY.

I would like to thank the forum members for taking the time to give their critiqu on my situation. I just saw a offer at phone shark.com for AT&T pre paid nokia 5165 $25.00 phone card, free activation a $25.00 card as a rebate by mail. This could justify the .35 per minute around the clock and 45 day life span of the card.
Has anyone seen pre pay cards for sell phones for sale at less than face value???

I guess you don't know what we mean, it cheaper to stay with VoiceStream. They might give you extra minutes for being with them a year, so if I was you I would stay with them. Prepaid in the end would run you well over $23 dollars a month.

that is interesting but at 16.95 a month I personally think that is too high

for 19.99 you actually get minutes to use (again stay with voicestream) If it is not broke dont fix it

I agree that for the first time that, VoiceStream is a better carrier if you like loght use. lol With their lame ___ weekend minutes, every calling plan that they have has to be light use, ha.

I have the Voice Stream 39.99 plan ; the Nokia phone is "so so" and the connection is crackly most times unless you're standing by a window or outside. I would have kept the service, if I were you, though. You can always go to 7-11 and buy theirs or Wal Mart and buy theirs, maybe Sprint has a deal going on.

Dukedog, you are really getting on my nerves. Maybe you should be removed from Wireless Advisor. I think I'll check into that. Voicestream is not only for light use, I use mine heavily and have no problems.

Now now...let's not turn this into an episode of Jerry Springer..lol [IMG]
But, on a serious note.. Aiwapro, you do need to kinda of chill, as I have mentioned before you sound like salesman most of the time. We don't need someone always pressuring someone into Voicestream, Voicestream and more Voicestream, don't get me wrong..the information you provide is great but, the sales pitches have to go, just turn it down alittle and don't take things so personally and everyone will get along great.

VoiceStream is the come get more(slogan), really means that actually you are getting less.
If you want a carrier that gives you less minutes and less Coverage, come and activate with us. VoiceStream

Aiwapro you do need to turn it down ALOT! You recommend VoiceStream to everybody. I've even seen you recommend them to people who don't even have the damn service in there town! That's really stupid.

Yeah.......Chill.......so the guy made a mistake....he'll learn from it.......so leave him alone to make his decision and let him decide what he wants to do! Stop making sales pitches, because none of the wireless companies are infallible! They all have their problems....and none of them is perfect! And you all complain about all of yours!

I'm not the problem. The problem is Dukedog, everytime I say something about Voicestream, he tries to get 'smart' with me. I don't like that, nor will I tolerate that.
