Engadget says Motorola/VZW will officially announce it in 3 days.

Does it have a physical keypad? Also, it looks kinda big. I like the original Droid/Milestone, I hope this improves on it. I'll wait till an official release until I pass judgment. Looks promising tho ;)

Thanks for the link, RR. No physical keyboard. It is a virtual keyboard, but utilizes Swype to help you type faster. And from what I have read, it also has multi-touch typing.

Oh man, I really like to have a physical keypad :( I guess I'll pass on the Droid X if it ever gets released in a GSM form. Actually, I just ordered a Milestone last week, so I'll hold onto that for a while anyway, and wait and see if Moto or anyone else releases an Android device with a sliding keypad.

...actually, GSM Arena says Droid Xtreme has a QWERTY keypad

...is that the DroidX in GSM form, or is it something else? ...cuz I'm liking the Droid Xtreme :browani:

I am not sure. From what I have read online about Verizon's Droid X, it will not have a physical keyboard (maybe a GSM version down the road will have one  ). The Droid 2 will have a physical keyboard, though.
