That must be Comcast's national monthly price.....

I wish we were getting the first, fourth, seventh, and tenth months free.

    Oh well.

How did you get that promotion Shizam?

I just called when my DSL contract was ending....and that's just what was going on at the time. In the last week....that one is now over with. They just sent me an ad card in the mail....ya know one of those that goes to everyone in the neighborhood...it says "Or current resident"? Now they are offering 6 months at 19.95.

It's just my Karma that a different promo comes out days after a transaction of mine. Same with my cell phone, remember that one?

Anyhow....I'm not that upset at the new promo, because going the 19.95 for 6 months route would have saved me a whopping 3.96

    Oh I see. ;)

Our promotion in our area is high-speed for $29.95/month for 6 months drectly from Comcast.

If you buy it at Best Buy or Circuity City, I think it is still $19.99/month for 6 months if I am not mistaken.

Our 19.99/6months is directly through Comcast. Best Buy.....I'm not sure what they are offering here. I haven't been in that store for a while :(

    No contracts,
Yes, I could have, but Comcast didn't have any deals going on right now, and with this Qwest deal, I might just downgrade to something cheaper after my 3 months are up, or switch to comcast ;)

Don't worry, I wouldn't have done any contracts, since something better will probably come along sooner or later; I hate Qwest, we're gonna hate paying our $$$ to them every month ;)

come 2006 I might be paying $$$ to Verizon and not having there service or phone selection. :banghead: :evillaugh

So I might end up with the booby prize like you got right now. :(

Comcast is tons better than Mediacom any day.
Every now and then my parents house will lose internet and Mediacom's customer service says the same thing there in no outage in your area and you are behind a router so it is your problem. usual responce Well the modem is haveing problems talking to the server and the modem is going great (Motorola SB 5100) it is your network that is having problems since TV channels are comming in great. After several hours or a day it would be operational again and got only into an argument with them. Comcast has always worked with me when I had problems (only under the name comcast has that been true for me in Logan).

I will probably move back to my hometown where Verizon gets 49.5% of my money I do not get there network nor plans nor service nor Mobile Web nor BREW
but I do get there discontinued phones with Lyrix . They still sell Moto V120c I bought that phone back in 2001 when VZW was in my hometown.

Well I go in there, but I just end up buying a CD or a DVD.

I get all of my games from Gamestop and EB (which is now part of Gamestop). :)

I think you will once again have to explain the Lyrix Wireless situation for me(or hand me the link of the threat where you previously explained it), since I still don't get the VZW/Lyrix thing.
Why are you moving back to your home town?
