I was reading in the 'The New At&t What A Joke" post about how companies rank you by how much profit you bring in. What is Alltels minimun amount per line that they say is profitable?
I read through that thread and I really think it's just something that At&t does. In my experience, most Alltel reps that look at my account try to figure out ways to lower my bill. I'm always asked about switching over to the family choice plan or about my Free-to-Roam minutes to lower my bill, but I usually just end up explaining why it is set up the way it is. In cruising online forums, I've only heard people that work for At&t refer to any sort of scale like that. I don't work for Alltel but have spoken to several reps in store and even known a few and have never heard of anything like this being done with Alltel. Alltel seems more likely to give good Customer Service to any and all customers ... of course as long as you get a rep that knows what they're doing.
thats what i thought. and thats one of the main reasons i love alltel. Great CS for everyone no matter who you are.
I have to agree about the CS - I have walked in for different reasons and while they have my account pulled up they will make suggestions and the changes that have been made have been to my benefit. The last time I was there they told me that I qualify for 1000 free text messages on my plan - I was currently paying .10 a text. I love that kind of interest in the customer.
